Luxor Las Vegas: 10 Crazy Facts About The Pyramid Hotel - Vegas 2019

We walked our first day all the way down to Treasure Island and back. We knew we couldn't check in, we needed something to do to kill a few hours, so we opted to get sucked in to the time share deal - be forewarned: we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves in to. We used it one night to learn how to play Roulette. Hotel restaurants good value and plentiful. When we got there, it was about am. The lifts were built in the time of the pyramids and were rickety and went up on an angle which was most unpleasant. My next trip to Vegas will not stay at the Luxor. My fiancee and I had a drink in the hotel bar terrible and overpriced and gambled a bit. The room was good and the bed excellent. We went to Freemont street one night and took a taxi - be warned! Never had a problem sleeping. I stayed here with family on a trip for my fiancee's sister's 21st birthday. I really did not expect to love Vegas as much as I did - now, I can't wait to go back! Yes, the t. But, we wanted to try something different than the slot machines and video poker just too anti-social. The carpet was filthy, the room smelled musty, the ac did not work very well, the cable was out the first day, and there was a nice sticker which said "Thong" on the side of the dresser. Jerry upgraded us to the West Tower 10th floor, room for free! We got to check in early at 11am when the three girls arrived. I chose the hotel because it was a good price and it seemed nice from the pictures, however, I was very disappointed with what I discovered during my stay. Our room was quiet. Ok then.

Took a long time to check-in at 6pm on a Monday - 35 minutes wait. My husband and I stayed at the Luxor from June to celebrate my 40th birthday.

Not a problem for us. The staff did not seem very friendly and you had to pay pyramid casino vegas minute to pyramid casino vegas the computers in the business center. No advice or directions on how the find the ethernet cable or how to set up the connection.

It is a decent rate but so are a lot of much nicer Hotels. The nice pyramid casino vegas was the walkway to Mandalay Bay. Mostly we didn't spend too much time in the hotel.

But, it worked! It wasn't bad by any means, I just didn't love it at all. Once worked out - all pyramid casino vegas good. Bar offerings good value and plentiful. Another con is the quality or lack thereof of the rooms.

Pyramid casino vegas location is not that great either; it's for st croix casino turtle lake event center similar the very end of the strip and you have to travel quite a ways to get to the shuttle to take you to the heart of the strip.

We had more room than pyramid casino vegas other hotels we have stayed out. Pool: We just used it one day, for the afternoon. We were quite exhausted, but don't regret it - got a 'feel of the land', if you will.

Yes, it's 'old style' internet. Big bathroom, lots of closet space, ironing board, large shower and bathtub.

Our rooms were on the 18th floor and next to each other. That had things that were open late for us.

It's slow and breaks down a lot. But, sitting at the edge of the pool, dangling your feet in the water, and sipping a cold-and-yummy, and you can't go wrong! We declined. Our view was okay - just a lot of the excalibur. As for staying at the Luxor again?

Took the Deuce back - downfall was that it was about a 2 hour trip, including wait time. Never had a problem. After reading all of these reviews, I was scared to death! The pool area was perhaps the only redeeming quality however the water was akin to the cleanliness of The Nile. Both shows were great and we didn't break the bank! It's all in the attitude and what you make of it! The rooms are a strange shape, but the size isn't bad. We checked in around pm and my husband asked Jerry such a sweet man if there were any upgrades available we were booked in 2 queen beds, in the pyramid. We also came to the conclusion that the Luxor was not a 'happening' place to be - more on the quiet side, since it's at the extreme south end of the Strip. I don't feel scammed at all. Our first day at the Luxor the cable shut down and both the TV and internet did not work, meaning we had to watch Carrot Top on repeat. Room amentiies good. We decided not to use the buffets I'm not a fan of buffet food. Bed was a bit stiff, but since my neck was out anyway, it wouldn't have mattered where I slept. It was nice, after a long day of fighting the crowds, to come back to somewhere quieter. My husband said this was our first time and that we were here for my 40th birthday. Also it is not in the best location on the strip and you have to walk very far to reach the room. We tried to eat at another place around 11pm and it was already closed it's the one located next to the LAX club, they stopped serving food at 10pm I think. Next time I go to Vegas it will definitely be worth the extra money to choose a nicer hotel in the middle of the strip! I had read some poor reviews for this place but nothing prepared me for my stay at the Luxor. Very laid back and very fun! There is only one elevator to take you to these rooms and you have to walk completely through the entire casino to get to these elevators. It was nice - 2 queen beds, table and chairs, nice big windows. So, that took the fun out of it Got to give a shout out and a big promotion to Scoot City Tours - we called them and went on a scooter tour of Red Rock Canyon. Look in to and give it a try - nice way to get out of the hustle and bustle of the Strip. Though if we go back, we wouldn't stay here. Then, hit their roulette table. They neglect to tell you that in the "Pyramid" rooms, you cannot have a coffee maker because it's a "fire hazard". We played there for about 3 hours and had sooooooooo much fun!!!! Then, Jerry asked if we had been to Vegas before and if we were celebrating anything. The rooms were clean. There is nothing enticing or fun about The Luxor, is is decrepit and in dire need of renovations. We went to Fat Tuesday's in Mandalay Bay , filled up our huge mugs with slushy drinks, and spent about 3 hours at the pool. Another tip - we're not much of gamblers. When we checked in I asked for a room with a view of The Strip and was told "There's no point, The Strip is too far away". The money we saved on the hotel was spent on taxis as it is quite far from everywhere. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!!! On strip hotel was a little dated but good value for money. They weren't bothered at all that we were newbies, learning our way. Hotel: everyone was soooooooooooooooo friendly! The food was fine - we mostly ate at the little breakfast cafe. Very hot weather degrees and all the chairs were taken. Somethings are a bit outdated. It was my fiancee, his sister, and I in one room and his parents in the next. The rooms were dark and the air conditioning must have been installed in the 's. So, we went to Hooter's. Never heard people coming and going. Room: Very spacious! The place is run down, dark, depressing and smells like old shoes. Maria, our housekeeper, came regularly. The only positive things I could say about this hotel is it was cheap and the beds were pretty comfortable.
